Missing fruit already!

Hi guys! 
 

I started Keto yesterday and my body is screaming for fruit and veggies. The accounted for the majority of my diet. Any ideas on how to incorporate them more? 
 

Also side note - I’m struggling to keep my eyes open today. I just want to sleep. Anyone else experienced that?

    Carb withdrawal is the worse.  Yes, the terrible cravings for your favorites and the fatigue are normal.  Push through!  You got this!   Look up "Keto Flu" and "Ketorade" for some ways to fight off the fatigues feeling, it usually indicates you need more electrolytes.

  • So probably the unpopular opinion here but if you are missing it that much splurge a little here and there. It is hard to stick to something when you are really missing something you love and can't have. I once craved bananas so bad so I literally cut off 4 slivers of bananas and accounted for them in my daily net carbs. It was a ridiculously high amount of carbs for the serving and I have yet to do it again but it hit the spot at the time and it didn't kick me out of ketosis. If I really want fruit these days I have 15 raspberries and heavy cream. Raspberries are one of the lowest carb fruits so its a way better option if you really want some fruit, just don't go crazy.
