Hey all. 

Many moons ago I was very successful with low carb.

I am a foodie at heart. Have had some ups and downs for the past 12 years, not really paying attention, just eating.

My neighbor is going through low carb and needed some support. 

She had a sodium scare at the Dr office and told him she doesn't even own a salt shaker.

But I pointed out to her that she is still buying Atkins package meals, and other items, such as shredded cheese which has potato or corn starch to keep it from sticking.

Any way, my belly has been getting in my way so decided to support her and go on a low carb thing for the summer.

We both did a weigh in this morning. I'm at either 210 or 214, lol, depending on which of our scales we want to believe.

I'm very aware of labels on food, and know the best way to go is unprocessed anything and kill the sugar so here I am.

I'm giving up my evening cocktail for the next month - that may be my biggest challenge 🤣

Other than that I know what I need to do.

Goal weight will be around 150ish. 

Had a clean day today with cheese and pork rinds and some meat. Just want to get the ketosis kicked in as it's pretty easy after that.

May take the next few days off from work.
