Keto snacks for cutting cravings

Hi everyone,

I'm on week 3 of my keto diet -- feeling pretty good overall. More energy, less hunger, and have lost about 5lbs.

Does anyone have tips on quick & easy snacks that fill you up? I'm getting a little sick of nuts and cheese, not so into pork rinds, and everything else seems to be loaded with carbs. Sometimes I just eat a spoonful of coconut oil or MCT oil to get the ketones up to cut hunger, but it's not those most appetizing thing.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Maybe it's the brand of rinds your buying. I had to look online for more palatable ones. Also, try not to snack to much. Hard boiled egg dipped in cream dressing. Tuna or chicken cut up with egg in Mayo on hand if you need it. Weight comes off better without snacks. Macadamia nuts and walnuts carry a good punch though. Macadamia especially. Nuts.com is a good valu.

This might not sound right at the moment  feeling hungry, but drinking a cool glass of good water often staves that feeling off for me. Sometimes dehydration / feeling needy seems to translates right into hungry.

Also, I’ll go for an egg or slice of cheese. I’m going to up some salmon and cut it up into pieces. Great fat zero carbs. Seems perfect snack.

Re snacking, I think if one can get to 1-2pm with only coffee and water, that’s intermittent fasting 16:8. Then eat til 9-10 pm. I think eating sporadically within those 8 hours might not count the same way as snacking throughout the day
