Are you working out? Are you following low carb or ketogenic ? Ketogenic lifestyle is always more fat than protein and everyone's ratios will be slightly different.  And how long have you been following this? Scale will go up and down with water retention and I suggest putting that thing away for awhile. I'm 5'6 and my protein was about 4-6 ounces a day and fat much higher. To get it right sort of , I use the palm of my hand as a serving. I never sit down to a large portion of meat. I keep it small with loads of fats. Eat till just satisfied- never to "oh wow I think I ate to much". Try no snacking between if you can. Let the hunger pangs annoy you and have a mental image of what you will be eating next.  Don't be concerned what time it is on the clock. I was obsessed with " dinner time" but wasn't hungry.  I can actually gain up to 4 pounds of water overnight at any given time. So the scale isn't my friend most of the time. My favorite jeans I can't get into quite yet are.

  • I concur protien limit about 6 ounces fills up my daily protien macro.  To get fats up add plenty of coconut oil, ghee, olive oil, mct oil, small amounts of cheese (which you must be careful with as cheese also contains protien)  them mac nuts are great for snacks about 6 at a time (also need to watch as they are high in calories but great if you need to feel satiated. Once you are fat adapted easier to figure out macros with just two meals a day and that will be enough to keep you full if you fat macro is where it should be

  • This is what you want your macros to look like. Also I use a app called “carb manager”. It’s great for keeping track of this.  If you get it under settings you want to create a “custom”  goal and set your own percentages accordingly. The “low carb” and “keto” setting, I found don’t get it exactly right.  And some days I am actually cliser to 80% fat  and still loosing weight.  Remember fat doesn’t make you fat.  Follow this, you will loose weight but then again I only weigh once a week as weight can flucuate daily but overall weekly the weightloss should register unless you are still having a regular cycle  then maybe only use the scale twice a month.
