A bit frustrated...
Hello—this is my first post 😁 I’ve been doing Keto for 6 weeks now. I’m down 15 lbs, which overall is good. I’ve only gone over my 20g of carbs 5 times in that time and only by a couple grams. I keep my protein below fat and try to stay UNDER the carbs when possible. I’m even doing IF on M/W/F. I KNOW I’m eating probably half the calories I used to. I’m frustrated that I’m not seeing more significant losses at this point. I use Ketostix and the reading stays in the “small” amount of ketones. Am I in ketosis or not??

Gina is spot on. The test strips aren’t an accurate to gauge ketosis. They’re good initially to check if you’re getting into ketosis. However, as your body becomes more efficient at burning fat & using ketones, you’ll have less unused ketones in your urine. You can be firmly in ketosis yet test otherwise.
So far as weight loss progression initially some experience a sharp decline in weight which starts leveling off. For example, I lost 12 lbs the first week although I know majority of that was water. Five weeks in now with a total loss of almost 27lbs. Others can experience a more consistent weight loss pace overall.
So long as you’re making progress towards your goal weight I wouldn’t sweat it. People react differently & have different weight loss experiences. Just keep in mind that it’s a marathon not a sprint. My wife is on the diet as well and has lost roughly the same average weekly loss you have. It is what it is. Progress is progress though.
