It’s not ‘horrible’ but certainly something you want to avoid, especially at the beginning.
Transitioning from burning carbs to fat allows us to tap in to extra stored fat. Think of it this way: a body needs a constant amount of energy, we’ll call that ‘X’. If we have a lot of stored fat, the less fat we eat, the more fat must be pulled from stored to meet the demand (the total ‘X’ stays the same).
So being under your fat macro is a good thing, especially at the beginning. We we get close to our target weight, we’ll need to pay more attention to getting closer to (or right on) our fat macro.
