What if I don’t meet the nutritional requirements?

I just, officially, started today. I meal prepped last night so that I would have keto stuff to eat today. I ate all that I wanted and felt full and have no cravings for anything. BUT, even with keto food, I only hit 6 net grams of carbs and was almost 800 calories short. Is this going to be detrimental?

You definitely don’t want to be short on your calories. Your body can go in to starvation mode. Carbs is a max so you can be under. Protein is important to keep muscle mass. Fat helps you ti feel full. Meal prep is important but so is meal planning.  I try to plan in advance so I am staying close to my fat and protein goals without going over my calories.

  • Qwerty23 thank you! I’m going to make some fat bombs tomorrow. Hopefully that will help me with the fat and calories part.
