Where i'm doing wrong🤔?

Hello, my name is Tercia from Italy🇮🇹 and I started keto on February 19, 2023. Since then: no carbs and following with a lot of respect. I have very little time to cook, the stove is not my best friend. I mainly eat cheese, cooked ham, keto sweets, keto bread recipes (with almond flour, eggs, cottage cheese or other cheeses, fresh keto spices and cream) (from Diet Doctor, Senhor Tanquinho, RevolucaoKeto and some others) . I also make and drink keto lemonade to combat the cramps that appear every night. I monitor my urine ketosis index, which tells me I am NOT in ketosis. This is not good! I know I’m making mistakes, but I don’t know where. I would like your opinion. Thank you so much🙌.

  • I have trouble when the majority of what I eat is highly processes packaged foods that claim to be "keto friendly". Eating organically (self prepared or plain ingredients) is the best way to be in true ketosis. That is the only way of knowing what exactly you are eating. I hope this helps. Do you check the labels for carb count? If you are eating packaged foods at all (keto sweets or breads) make sure they stay within the carb range not exceeding 40 grams total carbs in a day.
