Confused

i started on this carb manager doing the keto diet and since starting i went down 2 pounds and now i’m gaining a.5oz too a pound back a day, i’m confiar on why i’m gaining the weight, i’m hitting macros and under 20 g of net carbs so why isn’t my weight not dropping, the only thing i’m doing different is i rode my bike this week for 20 miles and started a an challenge, but doesn’t exercise help you lose weight also, please help i’m so confused???

    It isn't a straight line, I have that happen too especially now that I'm 1.6 lbs from goal, it is taking me weeks and weeks to hit my goal.  So close and yet so far.  Drink every couple of hours at least, and hit your 5% carbs goal and 70% fat and 25% protein or close enough to that, and give it time.  Exercise doesn't help you lose weight, surprise surprise.  It helps your heart, and your head, and your looks, but has nothing to do with weight loss I have discovered from videos by Dr. Berg and Dr. Ken Berry I watch fairly regularly.  It's all what you eat, and keeping hydrated helps the process.  Wishing you luck Tracey!  Keep on it and it will work.  I unloaded over 65 lbs in 9 months so far.  You will too!

    Tracey Butcher  I'm rooting for you!  I was the worst before.  Keto gives you confidence to get back out there.  Just stick to your daily plan each day whatever you decide to have, enter it in the morning while you eat your eggs and avocado.  Then it's easy.  Good luck!

    Tracey Butcher JUST trying to be the mentor I wish I'd had to relieve some people's stress around it.  Sounds like you got this.  I do still measure the weight of my meats and cheeses I'm actually almost afraid to stop for fear I'll creep back up to what I was.  Sitting at the computer keeps me away from the refrigerator so this is mutually beneficial :-)
