High Fat w/o also high carbs/protein) Bulletproof Hot Chocolate

My husband likes this recipe. Great for upping fat intake without also too much protein or carbs. Peppermint is optional.

1/2 C Unsweetened Coconut Milk (Thai Kitchen)

3/4 C Unsweetened Almond Milk (Almond Breeze)

1 Tbsp Grass Fed Butter (Kerrygold)

1 Tbsp Liquid Coconut Oil (Carrington Farms)

1 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa (Hershey)

1 tsp Peppermint Extract 

1 tsp Truvia Naturally Sweet 

Melt butter (if coconut oil is not liquid kind, melt it also). Add remaining ingredients and allow to warm while whisking thoroughly.

Based on my brand ingredients:

5 Total Carbs

3 Net Carbs (2 Fiber)

45 Fat

2 Protein

    You could use all coconut milk instead of almond?  Safeway has Coconut Milk, 1c for 1cup

    Tiko Yes, we are actually gonna try that. I've also purchased some organic cocoa powder to use instead. The Hershey's is just what I happened to have in pantry.
