Weight Loss vs Maintenance

Simple Keto meals of fresh meat & veggies is the key to weight loss for me. I can eat meat to satisfaction along with 6 net carbs of veggies. 

 

I’ve found eating Keto pizza, breads, entrees and desserts are maintenance foods for me. The beauty is I don’t gain weight but I don’t lose. Eating these foods to satisfaction increases my calories and net carbs. My husband on the other hand loses easily eating these foods. 

 

What are are your experiences?  Do you see a difference in your Keto journey?

    This was part of the Dr Phinney report. Seems I will have to work at eating more calories..... with 16lbs remaining to goal I need to up my fats again!

    i agree I keep well away from anything labelled Keto. But I do have a very few berries and a tad of double (heavy) cream a few nights a week 😋 I also make 90 second bread with ground almonds (not almond flour) and flaxseed etc and I love this then made into a toasted cheese sandwich (might be a British thing?) oh yum.... currently 36 hours into a fast and feel amazing!

    what recipe do you use for the 90 sec bread? You mentioned flax seed. Please share!
