Queso

Is queso (cheese dip) like they serve in Mexican restaurants allowed on Keto?

If you know all the Keto ingredients (cheese, heavy cream, bacon, etc), then yes. I would eat it but not often and not too much because there could be other stuff in there that may stall fat loss. Once in a while won't kill you, I think. I usually make my own. Not exactly queso but it is called BLT Style dip. It has cream cheese, bacon, mayo, sour cream, cheddar cheese and chives. I still eat spare amounts since it is so rich.

I would ask them if there is flour in it. Roux is often a base for cheese sauces and dips to thicken and prevent separation. It’s equal parts butter and flour. I’m always weary if cheese sauces/dips made outside my home. I stick with guacamole.
