So I personally try and stay away from artificial sweeteners as too much of a good thing for me is a fine line to walk before I grab the real thing. I find it easier to not have cravings for more sweet stuff if I omit the artificial sweeteners. However, I have heard a lot of really good things about swerve as a sweetener in baked foods. Haven't been able to find it at the local grocery store so haven't tried it myself. I agree that stevia in coffee isnt the right taste, however I dont mind it in yogurt. Sweet and low, the pink packet, does pretty decent in coffee. Just not too much as it's kinda bitey as well. Good luck figuring it all out!! Let me know what ya find!

FYI stevia, erythritol (swerve), monk fruit (lakanto), xylitol and allulose are natural non-caloric sweeteners, not artificial. Sucralose (Splenda), saccharine (Sweet n Low) and Aspertame (Equal) are all artificial, along with maltodextrin, found in many sugar free candies and a number of Atkins products. Apparently maltodextrin can produce a strong glucose response and should be avoided on keto. The other three popular artificial sweeteners are not any worse on keto than off of it.
