  • There are many reasons that you may have stalled, not ingesting enough calories can be one of them. There's actually a proven "starvation mode" that your body can go into when it thinks food is scarce. Instead of burning any fat/energy, it stores it until it believes that food is readily available again. This can happen if you eat less than 1200 per day.

Losing water weight in your first few weeks is common. You won't see the drastic weight loss day after day. But even if you are losing a pound a week, it's not a stall, just a leveling off. Is this the case, or are you not losing at all?

I have a few questions to better help you:

    1. What are your macros?

    2. What's the hurdle you are hitting with incorporating more calories? Are you full? Do you only eat a couple of times a day? What's keeping you from eating more calories?

    3. How long have you been on keto?

    4. Are you currently in ketosis?

    5. How long have you gone without weight loss? Have you lost any weight in that time?

kle5159 10 is good. Keep at it. Put the evil scale away for close to a month. Go by how your pants fit. Ketogenic is designed to eat to satiety.  If your not hungry and don’t want to eat, don’t eat. Time is and patience is your friend. Took me 3 months to see a bit of difference in my cloths while the scale didn’t move much. Stalls that occur for a very long period of time, need analyzing then. There is no magic button for stalls i have concluded, but only pure patience.
