Ketosis and gained weight
i have been back on keto for almost 2 weeks, i have been well under 20g net carbs daily, and keto strips have been positive every day..but i gained 2lbs... and i know i have not lost any inch in my body
im soooooo upset, discouraged and frustrated. i did this WOE last year and lost 35lbs..gained 20lbs due to a lot of stress.. i just dont know what im doing wrong this time.
please help :(

The quality of food matters as well, are you eating all natural and refraining from the “low carb” processed foods? I am new to restarting keto after years of consuming “low carb” bars. I have switched to a clean diet, very little processed foods and absolutely no protein bars and 6 days in I’ve lost 5 lbs which I am sure is water weight but should be an indicator that my stubborn body is making the internal change so that it will start burning fat. Another mistake I have been making the last 10+ years is consuming too much protein. It’s too soon for me to comment further because I am still unsure how my body will respond this time around, this post just caught my eye because I can relate. However, please do NOT give up. I have listened to several podcasts and have read books and articles and I have taken away that it can take up to a month to kick in. Keep us updated!
