Variability in Progress as this journey goes ....

Hi all. I鈥檓 in a week and so far so great for me 馃榾 Started at 12 gms net carbs /day (will call this 12gm net!) and yesterday upped that to 20 with some advice fm you all. Have dropped a first 3 (lbs) in past 7(days). Aiming at 2/Wk dropped lbs from 23BMI wanting to get down to 20 ( this ain鈥檛 easy either). 

Hope to study with you just how day to day variability affects progress and what we can do to monitor. 

Have ordered keto sticks and weighing every morning.

    Yesterday not only went 20 but added about 6 more with beer at dinner (3oz) and a few other things. Same weight this amas yesterday am. Yay ! But who鈥檚 to say ha ha

    Life happens.... I went up towards the end of week 2 so gave the scales a miss for over 2 weeks. Being so near your goal I think I would get weighed daily but each of us need different focus which is great.

    20 bmi? That's borderline malnutrition. I'm a medical professional. That can't be healthy?

    hey there, me too and I thought you probably were. I think a few of us on here. Normal BMI is 18- 20 something. Less than that is underweight. By the  lit I鈥檓 seeing, anyway. 

    Since age 25 or so I鈥檝e only been able to drop to 20-21 one time and that was calorie counting with an AP plus 30 min fast walk every night. Have tried same thing  repeatedly and no good. With this after abt a week just intermittent fasting I鈥檝e dropped 5#. Yay !!!
