Find Source of Nutritional Totals in Daily Log by Selecting Item in In Depth Log

When I browse my nutritional total I will often find either a low or a very high number. I have no way to find where this comes from. For example I had a hi sodium number that made no sense but had to search around my log to find where it came from and in the end it was a mistake in my food log.

It would be useful to simply select the nutrient in the "In Depth" section and have it list the source of this nutrient based on my daily log. This way if my sugar is higher then I was expecting, which I often find, I can know what I ate that caused it to be high. Right now I have to select every item I have in my daily log and scroll down to find the item which is very inefficient.

It does this already. In the In Depth tab, the dropdown to the right of My Foods (defaults to Net Carbs) allows you to select any nutrient to show which foods gave what contribution to that day.

  • Paul Gee It allows for four option. Net carbs, protein etc.. I am looking at micro nutrients and I want to now why I got more sodium then expected or where did I get my magnesium today. None of those are possible. Even for the ones it does I wanted to see Carbs and not net carbs to understand which foods I eat had high Carbs but low net carbs but that is also not available.

The drop-down to the right of MY FOODS (not My Week) shows all the micro-nutrients. At least it does on the (my) paid-for version. I cannot say for the free version.
