  • I’ve done the MCT oil. It does give an energy boost. Take after a meal and only do once a day. I don’t have a sensitive stomach but if I take it more than twice or before a workout, I’ll get indigestion so bad I’ll want to throw up and I don’t ever get indigestion.

I use ketones from Pruvit.com, they are amazing. They eliminate all cravings, improve my energy, and have accelerated my weight loss. They are on sale 2 for the price of one right now, great t w to try them if you want!

  • I put a table spoon of MCT in my morning protein shake.  I have trouble getting enough fat without it.

From what I have heard, exogenous ketones don't do you any good. People call it "buying expensive pee".  The whole purpose of this diet is to burn your own ketones so I don't understand why you would want to add any. MCT oil appears to be the real deal. But don't overdo it, 1 tablespoon a day I believe is the recommended amount. I can't tolerate it in drinks or straight like other people take it, so I put it on food. I include it as part of my salad dressing or I put it on top of my meat at dinner.
