Rapid weight loss the first week
Hi, all!
This is my first week on keto. I weighed myself Sunday morning right after emptying my bladder and before any food. I weighed in at 122.4lbs. I started my low carb journey on Monday and my net carbs for that day was 9g. I've been averaging about 20g/day. I weighed myself again today and I'm at 116.8. That's 6 pounds in less than a week!! Is this normal? Should I be eating more? I'm very small (4'11") so I'm limiting my calorie intake as well, around 1200. No sure if I should adjust since I'm on keto. Any advice would be appreciated. Mairlyn pedersen I am not doing intermittent fasting since I hate being hungry. I've been trying to stay under 20g net carbs, 91g fat, 71g protein. I checked several online keto macro calculators and that's the average of all of them for my age/weight/height. I won't be able to work out for a month so I'm a little nervous about screwing up my macros and end up gaining weight. Thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely look him up on YouTube.
