Headache..... any suggestions
I'm on day 5. Yesterday I came down with a headache that kept getting worse to a full on migrane by bedtime. I'm prone to headaches turning to migranes if I get one. Any tips? I have a toddler to take care of so I atleast need to function. I'm determined to stick with this. I've met my carb goals everyday. The headache sucks so bad

I am the same. Powerade Zero has helped, but you have to stay ahead of the headaches. I am suffering now because I forgot to pay attention to my electrolytes. I gave in and took ibuprofen, and I'm trying to get back on track. Also, Mio added to water. I keep one in my purse. I feel your pain, these are probably some of the worst headaches I've ever had, hope it passes soon.

Hi I am restarting my low carb diet. I have serious migraines because I have some of the most monstrous uterine fibroids in the history of human civilization. However, when I have a headache I try 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar. Take it straight without diluting it. White vinegar might work too. It opens up the blood vessels in the head and relieves pain somewhat.

Up your salt intake as well. I've been working with a nutritionist who advocates keto. She says that you shed a lot of water on keto and can lose electrolytes. She recommends chicken broth with added Sea salt and butter. It's very comforting and helps with the headaches. I warm my broth with a sprig of thyme for more flavor.
