Question about logging food

Hi everyone, I do have a quick question. When you log chicken or meat do you weigh it before or after cooking to log accurate (oz).

You choose in the selections, they usually have it both ways and you enter it as you weighed it, either uncooked or cooked.  I weigh my meats after I cook them and only eat chicken thighs so I choose 1 medium chicken thigh and kind of avoid the whole question, but I do notice sometimes there are selections both cooked or uncooked to choose from for some foods.  Check Red peppers for an example just saying cuz I just entered that.  You can fudge it a bit and still succeed so don't stress too much about it.  Good luck to you!  Stay strong.

Elizabeth Hi, sorry.  In CarbManager, at the left  top, you click on My Daily Log.  You'll then see the circle pictograph of your daily limits that show red, green or blue for your macros.  Scroll down underneath that and you'll see Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks.  Beside breakfast, at the far right are 3 dots vertically.  Click on that.  That's where you have your food selections.  For example if you type in "red pepper" you will bring up lots of options including raw, or cooked.  You choose according to whether you weighed it raw or cooked.  I have been weighing my veggies raw, but I weigh my meats cooked and the weight came off so I'm assuming that was right!  I hope that helped a bit.

Definitely after , including  vegetables . Ounces are generally more accurate than cups unless it is liquid .
