I’ve missed fruit as well, but have kept away from all but berries for over 8 months now. I’m 1 1/2 lbs away from goal and will start adding more berries and occasionally 1/2 cup of other fruit such as apples and pears, but only when paired with a fat & protein such as a nut butter or cheese. Absolutely no tropical fruit. Remember that fruit as a carb can be a slippery slope, so add it back in small quantities, no more than twice a day and to keep track of any symptoms that reappear such as hunger and carb cravings. If having an apple a day keeps you happy and on the diet without repercussions then great, but be honest about how it effects you.
