Started One Week Ago

Hello all, I'm excited to be here! I started Keto one week ago and have lost 8 pounds so far! (Probably mostly water weight, but I'll take it!) Two things have happened since I started - no appetite/hunger (yay!!! That was my problem before when I was doing CICO) and my Plantar Fasciitis pain in my right heel has drastically diminished - all over one week! Definitely sticking with this style of eating from now on (even though I had terrible Keto flu - so worth it!). Keto has allowed me to listen to my body again. It's so nice.

  • My first week ended yesterday, I only lost 2.5 lbs. This is much less than expected correct?

    DDS Honestly I truly feel most of my loss in the first week was water weight. That also could've been why my feet were hurting because of so much retained water. From what I've read, it's normal to lose anywhere from 2-10 pounds - yes, it can be that big of a difference!) Just stick with it, I'm sure you'll have big wins in no time!
