You’ve certainly come to the right place - LOTs of good info here.
Obviously check with your doc, but I’ve found the keto experience to be wonderful. Do your research and good luck!
I’ve found some books to be very, very useful and informative:
’The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living’ by Drs Jeff Volek and Stephen Phinney (2011)
’The Diabetes Code’ by Dr Jason Fung (2018)
Both are available on Amazon, and provide some easy-to-read science behind what works (and what doesn’t). All three Drs are also on YouTube.
also on YouTube: ‘The Carb Addiction Doctor’ which I think gives good sound medical advice/explanation.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

@Kathy08069e700 Hi Kathy. Nice to meet you! I just joined myself. Like you, cancer survivor (thyroid) and trying to combat pre-diabetes along with high cholesterol. Seems the older I get (56 shortly) the more "labels" I have to apply lol. I jump around the groups and even read old posts for info. It's helpful. @pat_f has been very helpful along with a couple others. Look forward to sharing experiences and tips, tricks, recipes here :)
