Newbie

Hi totally new to Keto ~ I’m day 4, I find I can not reach my fat & calorie intake with out going over carbs .  Any suggestions?

    You have to add more fats like for example butter, coconut oil or olive oil to your food. This doesn't really appeal to my taste, but it's necessary as fats are what give you that satiated feeling, and keep you full for longer. Some even add butter to their tea or coffee. Google 'keto fat bombs'. IMHO it's more important to stay on or below your carb goal, as long as you don't eat so few cals. that your body goes into starvation mode and your weight loss stalls.

    Thank you for the advise . I have added butter to my eggs in the morning and I will add butter to my veggies too. 😊

    Also consider making some fat bombs for those days when you are coming up short on fat.  Mine are usually about 1 carb, 1 protein, and 9 fats, so a couple of them after dinner can really make up a fat deficit.
