I don’t know - we’re all different and what works for one might not work for another. I think anything else would be pure conjecture.
Perhaps it might serve you better if you considered omitting potatoes all together and went for ketosis. Once you get to where you want to be, then see how things are going and reassess how to best go from there.

I do 60-100 carbs. When I first started keto a year ago I was strict 25 or less carbs for first month but my blood sugar was bottoming out so I upped carbs to 50, eating 1200-1800 calories and losing between 2-3 lbs. a week, then as time passed 60 carbs, losing 1-2 lbs. a week, now I try to stay under 100 carbs and under 2000 calories and sometimes I lose a couple pounds still.
