I don't know if you do Keto or low carb.

I think you should stay at 20 carbs and don't skimp on fat. Because the fat is your natural appitite supressor. I have learned doing this diet, that if you cook from scratch and eat raw and cooked foods, then in about 2 weeks you cravings are curbed. I didn't worry about my calorie intake the first two weeks, because I had to flush out all that sugar in my body.

Myself: I can't do those low carb bars and that Keto bread or pancakes... those make me stall and most of the time even gain weight.

    Good luck!

I am doing low carb/high fat as I am  not familiar with the Keto Plan

20 is what I have been attempting to do. I don't know why it has been so hard to get started this time.  When I lost 100lbs back in 2012 it was SO EASY!!!  I am trying to cut out my diet soda and just drink water which is hard.  I did keep the weight off for about 4 years. Over the past few years my weight has just crept back up.

I have a desk job so when I am busy I still think about food vs having a job that keeps me on my feet and my mind off food.  What are some of your go to snacks and how long  have you been on this diet.

I did just do grocery shopping yesterday and bought a lot of fresh green veggies and salad veggies.  I think I get so frustrated when I mess up because I know what to do.

    Thanks for your reply!!

I agree about the low carb bars and Atkins frozen meals, I think those do more harm than good (for me anyway)

abkinley purge your cupboards. That helps. Stock up on pork rinds and sour cream. Dairy stuff helped me adjust actually. Comfort food.

I like to keep blue diamond almonds and string cheese on hand when I know I will be busy at work all day.

Try butter coffee with C8 oil for breakfast. It erases cravings . Coffee butter cream and C8 whipped with an immersion blender. Delicious too!

Mind over matter....focus on what you CAN eat and not what you can't. Make a list of healthy and yummy keto treats to put on the fridge and ALWAYS keep them on hand. That helps me tremendously!

MsLit I love this statement. "Focus on what you can eat". Really good advice ! We obsess over what we can't eat and this can be a mind over matter lifestyle. We have to train our brains. I look at animal fats in a whole new way now. Total carnivore.
