I eat a lot of cheese/dairy (not milk) in my first couple weeks of ketosis, usually because I'm still adjusting to life - and cooking-- with so much less carbs and it's comforting. I've found my taste for it decreases as time goes on and my palate adjusts to other fats (but I still love fathead pizza!) especially cream and cream cheese, etc, become a bit yucky to me but I don't think I'd ever want to leave cheeses out altogether. I didn't find this affecting my initial weight drop, but it did stall me a bit into my 2nd month, but yeah, I found myself naturally wanting less dairy anyway and kept cheese as an occasional ingredient rather than a daily staple.
