This is one of those things that is tossed around a lot for keto.
You will find both camps, but I think ultimately, you have to do what works for you.
Right now, I can't get under 20 total...and I am doing okay. Trying to do 20 total for a few days kind of stressed me out and in my world, stress=fat, so I'd rather do what is already working for me at 20 net. I have found though that some days, I hit over 20 total but don't hit 20 net, so win-win, I guess!
