Anyone as old as me?

I am 72 and wondered if there were any other older people on here and whether age makes any difference when doing low carb; I cannot see why it should. I am relatively fit and try to do 10,000 steps a day. I just need to lose a few more kilos so hopefully this app will help to keep me on track.

    I am turning 70 in July and have lost 60 lbs so yes this works for us who are older.  I am 9 lbs from goal and it has slowed down a bit but the wait is worth it.

    Hi, I’m very close to turn 65 and started my Keto Journey February 2019, about 1 week ago. I have lost 1 pounds. I have about 30 pounds to go. I hope we can at IN t9ch together.

    I'm 66. Just started this last week.  So far I have lost 2 pounds - the best weight loss  achieved in a 1 week period for a long time.  I'm following as a low carb plan.  Finding this app very helpful and educational.  I was under the impression I was eating a diet low in carbs ... boy was I wrong.

    aleta300c682 I lost some weight a while ago and kept it off, but did not use this app, I just cut out things I thought had a lot of carbs in them. I just want to lose a few more kilos.

  • Hi. Just joined after my birthday on 19, I turned 70. Am I insane starting at my age?  

     

    I have ave been up and down for years. Have life memberships for everything. WW, nutra system, Jenny, u name it, I’ve tried it.

     

    my son is getting married on a beach in August and I don’t want to roll down that sandy isle. 

     

    My fear. Fat. I have been reducing fat for years. Now I’m to eat it!!!  

     

    I can can use all the advice I can get. Thanks.

    Jackie lombard  I do not have a lot of advice to give and have the same problem as you. I have been avoiding fat all my life, which seems it was the wrong thing to do!. You have a goal in mmd and I am sure that by the time August arrives you will have lost weight and will look fabulous at the beach wedding

    I just turned 67, started a week ago and I'm down almost 7 pounds.  Another 35 is my goal.  I really need to up my activity.

    Betternow I could be wrong but I thought the Carb Manager app calculated all that in the settings area.
