No joke: 25 lbs lost in first week
I feel weird even sharing this because it seems so unbelievable, but I started using CM last Thursday (12/26 @ 286 lbs) and my last weigh-in had me 25 lbs lighter (12/31 @ 261 lbs)! I haven't weighed myself again since then because I don't want to see a higher number and let the wind out of my sails... Lol
Yes, I am certain that the bulk of it was water weight, but I'm also sure some of it was hard work. I'd love to hear what kind of 1st week losses others have had, and what they were doing in terms of diet/exercise/supplements.
My regimen is:
* <20 g carbs daily
* 1200-1500 calories
* 5/30/65 macros
* >10,000 steps daily (starting with a daily 2 mile walk before sunrise)
* Strength train in the morning on Mon, wed, Fri.
* Supplements daily: CLA, L-Carnitine, MCT oil, BHB, magnesium, potassium, and multivitamin.
* Lots and lots and lots of black coffee
* <120 fl oz water

Meredith Congrats! That's a great number for week 1! It will slow down but if you stick with it, the steady decline on the scale will keep you going.
I confirmed that my scale was on the fritz for my 25 lbs loss, but I put it on a different surface and it has been consistent. I'm confident in my initial weight, and I weighed in this morning at 29 lbs down. I've started going to the gym and speed walking on a treadmill for 45-60 minutes before the sun rises which I think has helped.
