Sorry if this is TMI (too much info) but what can I do if I haven’t gone Number 2 (Poop)?.... Please help?
Hello Everyone,
I have been doing strict keto, under 11g carbs, and exercising A LOT. I am constantly moving 12 hours a day, thanks to my Fitbit and average about 17,000 steps a day. My diet follows all fat and protein macros with very little carbs. I rarely go over 11g net carbs. My calorie intake is 1200 but I expend about 2500 calories by moving all the time during this quarantine. Should I be concerned if I haven’t gone Number 2 in the bathroom? I can’t even recall the last time I went... I’m sure it’s been more than 3-4-5 days now....
Sorry in advance if this is too much info. Looking for serious advice/tips/comments only.
Thanks in advance!

Had the same issue here. Read that drinking a LOT of water would help and it did; averaging 21+ cups per day. (Also helps with digestion and fat processing). Tried some Metamucil fiber drink but found the 10 total carbs per cup of liquid would kick me out of ketosis so I stopped.
Sometimes I’ll go a few days to 5-6 days between BM, but then have a week where it’s a daily event. Been keto since Oct and things have improved quite a bit since the beginning.
Hope this helps.

dsal711 Thanks for the tip. To be honest, I’ve been eating only 2-4 romaine lettuce leafs as taco shells for all my meats and cheese and avocado. It’s not much, but I’ve been trying to get more protein and fat in. I guess I could add more lettuce but I was trying to avoid adding any carbs even though those are good carbs. I’ll take what you said more into account on my next meal. I’ve just been so strict with myself to get to my goal weight.

There is no magic. There's more water, and lots of cruciferous vegetables and that's it IMO. For me it's a little broccoli and a lot of cauliflower...roasted, mashed, turned into pizza crust, every which way. I also used to be a daily pooper (sorry all) and became a once or twice a week girl on keto as I went. I don't worry about it. It's just different but so is our health.
