connieinwisconsin @Are you on Facebook? There is a support group that I belong to. It's free and the people are really nice. We share recipes, our ups & downs, before/after pictures, tips and lots of encouragement. I also attend the free monthly meetings. I love it. I think you would too. It has gotten so big that it now has support groups in Texas and Wisconsin. There are people in the online group from Florida, New York, Virginia, Wisconsin, Texas, Pennsylvania and several other states. That is how I started this journey. I seen my husband's cousin and his wife and then a friend I hadn't seen in awhile and could not believe how much weight they lost. They looked fabulous! If you want u can friend you on Facebook and then get you added. It is what has been keeping me motivated. 馃槉

Andrea @I am trying to lose about 80 also. Eggs, bacon & cheese are always good. Stay away from sugar, starches, breads, flour. I avoid fruits because they are so high in carbs. Drink plenty of water. I also don't use any milk or margarine. I use heavy whipping cream and butter. Stay away from things that are processed and things that are "low fat" or "fat free". Hope this helps some. Make sure you track everything you eat or drink!!!

Hey ladies! Thought I'd chime in after seeing your successes. I'm one week in and down 7# so far. I'm not a huge bread fan so I think this is the "diet" for me. I would like to lose 50#
Trying to be creative and trying new recipes. Today it's Thai peanut chicken with cauliflower fried rice.
Andrea, I don't have much of a sweet tooth but when I have wanted to indulge this past week I had a bit of Halo ice cream or a shot of Redi-whip. 鈽猴笍

How did your cauliflower fried rice turn out? I've made some other cauliflower dishes like a cheesy bake but haven't tried ricing it. One of my favorites is a crustless quiche. So easy and you can throw any kind of meat and veggies in that you want. It's different every time.
Many of the comments above are familiar. Sugar free jello with Ready Whip used to be my 'go to' sweet. After a while I stopped needing it.
This is my 2nd go at low carb/Keto. I stupidly went off despite a bunch of success with it for about 9 months. Off for about 7 months and now back on for 2 weeks. Down 10 lbs. Re-going through the initial adaptation awkwardness but feeling better even so and looking forward to what's to come. For anyone new, I'd recommend to stick with it. It's absolutely amazing how it changes you.

I am now 13 days in on a voyage that will, ideally, result in a 60 pound weight loss. I am down 10 pounds already, and my cravings have surprisingly been nil to this point. I know that there will come a point in the very near future in which the weight loss slows... I am sleeping better and generally feeling better thus far! My family is on board with this journey as well. The kids have enjoyed almost everything I've prepared thus far, and my husband is struggling with giving up the soda. Looking forward to meeting many more milestones and becoming part of a growing community!
