I need Help im so disheartened

Hello i did keto over 2 years ago and had amazing results then life happened hubby went on a really long deployment so was busy with 3 kids and fell off the wagon since then I have gained 20+ pounds and went into keto 3 weeks ago I have been tracking everything on my carb manager to a T I am 5’6 170lbs GW 150 to start with i stay under 1300 cals a day and under 25gs of carbs never hit my fat macros about 10gs or or so daily I feel good just in the last 3 weeks not a single pound lost im about to throw in the towel and accept being over weight the first time I had done this I lost 8lbs in two weeks I would care if it was only 1 or 2lbs but nothing for 21 days please he

    Don’t give up yet. I would suggest checking your Settings. You and I are the same height but my starting weight was a little bit higher than where you are and the app never allowed me 25 g of carbs. When I updated my weight recently it even took away 2 g LOL If you aren’t doing IF I recommend that. Best of luck!

    kellymcdonald7912 No bother at all.  We’re here to help each other.  1445 cals, 18 carbs, 112 fats and 90 protein. I usually end around 1,000-1,100 cals and 17 carbs. Protein and fats are usually under by 20g +/- depending on my day.

    Kelly...this is my 2nd go around on keto...it sounds like your body thinks it’s starving...so you’ve slowed you metabolism down. 2 ways to kick start it. 
    1. you need to sneak in more  exercise around the 3 ankle biters crawling around. 
    2. after three weeks and not losing a pound and can’t figure out why...I’m assuming you are following your diet strictly. (If you weren’t you’d know why you’re not losing weight). What has worked for me after the induction phase was building in one “cheat meal” per week. There are many articles about it online. Some call it “cheat day” or “cheat night” but essentially I chose 1 meal per week where I can have whatever I want...pizza, beer, ice cream, chips, dips, cookies, etc...ANYTHING I want. 
    here’s the Benefit...when you shove that stuff down your throat after a week of 41 healthy low carb meals and snack your body is reminded that it is NOT starving and you kick start your metabolism. I would typically save it for Saturday night...eat right all day and then from dinner to bed time it was a free for all. Every Sunday morning I’d wake up in a pool of sweat because my metabolism went into high gear to burn that stuff out of my body as fast as it could. My metabolism would run high for the next several days then start to slow down by the end of the week just in time for the kickstart cheat meal. 
    the second bonus to the “cheat meal” is this....you are never actually denying yourself of anything you want to eat. You are simply delaying if until your cheat meal. IE....I’m craving a pizza on a Thursday....I don’t tell myself I can’t have it...I tell myself...”I can’t have until Saturday’s cheat meal”. Psychologically it’s huge to keep you from “quitting” as you are now considering. 

    im only 11 days in so my first cheat meal won’t be until this Sunday at my nephews graduation party but I will cheat and spend the next day out of ketosis but with the Beni fit of ramping up my metabolism and reminding my body that we are NOT starving here. I’ll be back in ketosis by Tuesday after burning quickly through the glycogen stores. 
    try or not but DO NOT QUIT!

    I would lower those carbs. we are about the same weight. same height . I only take in 10 carbs if... I try to make my protein and eat fat until I'm full.  Fat is really used so you dont go hungry. try to have breakfast late in the morning. Use the MCT oil in your coffee or on something. MCT oil is great.
