Suffering today
I am finding it hard to adjust to my new low carb regime. My major problem is my digestive system. I am spending a lot of time in the bathroom if you get the drift. I am eating a lot of veggies, seeds such as chia pudding, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds. Also meat and oily fish plus eggs.
Is this just my body adjusting to a variety of foods changing. Is there any foods that might be added to sort this out. Supplements?

Hi Mogsta,
While I couldn't tell how long you've been doing keto by reading your post, I'm guessing it's only been a brief period. Depending on the amount of processed foods and starches you were eating prior - a period of readjustment is to be expected.
I found that making sure I was staying within my macros and getting plenty of fresh water helped me make the change over a lot easier. After about a month or so, I could tell my body was used to the new regime and now a days I have tons of energy and feel so much better than before!

Many thanks for your replies. Very useful and supportive, I appreciate that.
I think the problem was increasing my fat intake. I generally eat meals from scratch. I don't eat processed food, maybe once every few months.
Ithink things will sort out quite soon, things have been a little improved today and progress is welcome.
I am feeling less tired and lethargic which is another positive.
I am avoiding the scales until Wednesday which will be day 8. Blood glucose readings are improving.
