I started at 188 pounds May 11, I'm 5'6. I noticed the start of my body transform on month 3, weigh in now at 173 Oct.6. Goal weight 160 for now.

You have awesome goals. Thanks for reminding me that it’s more than just loosing weight. I have been focusing on the number on the scale. I have been neglecting the other half of my journey. Feeling healthy is just as important as looking healthy and should go hand in hand. I believe your way will reap larger and permanent rewards. Keep up the hard and diligent work.

Congratulations on a wonderful effort. I am beginning to get a litle frustrated myself Started at 249.5 now at 230 but nothing is happening now. In the morning I have GMO free eggs, with grass fed butter, either some organic avocado or organic cheese with some chopped onions. then a coffee first in the morning with KETO powder actually that is first. The eggs are around 1 or 2pm. Then meat at night with vegetables or meat with salad. Nothing happening. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.

Looking over many of the responses from KETO participants it seems to me the first 5, 10, even 20 lbs of weight loss is farely normal for most people. The remaining 20-40-60 lbs for those that have it in their goals is another story. The pateauing at the 20 lb loss then yo yo back and forth. Any comments on breaking through the elusive 20lb loss level?

lanememory4c02 make sure you are getting enough fat intake. It should be 5% carbs 25% protein and 70% fat. If your protein level is more than you’re fat you’re definitely going to plateau. So find ways to add more fat into your meals or even make fat bombs to help if you’re not able to find easy ways to incorporate it through your regular meals. When I was at the 20 pound mark her I had the same issue of plateauing and realized it was all about the fat LOL. I hope this helps.

Thank you for those suggestions. As a baby boomer I grew up conditioned that fat was bad. Bacon, fatty steaks, butter etc were the reason why americans were dying from heart attacks. So it is difficult to for example add butter to my coffee or fry up some bacon ;-). Crazy how we have to relearn so many things that we thought were correct are now absolete. What do you do for snacks?

To reduce one of my meals I am using the KETO MCT powder vanilla, and the KETO Collagen plus MCT powder in my coffee or with coconut milk to make a shake. Any suggestions if that is a good thing, or how often per day. I see my coffeemate with 2 or 3 tablespoons in my coffee has a lot of carbs. Perhaps better to use half and half which has 1.5 gr/oz of carbs. Oh yeah after 20 plus years of abstinence I started eating bacon again this week, very strange.

Kind of frustrating. I don't drink, smoke, and now no pasta, pastry, carbs and even have to give up coffee creamer geez. Also, appears most fruit is off limits except coconut. One has to live on Kale, cauliflower, meats, cheese, bacon, eggs, butter and olive oil with some olives. I'm Italian and pasta was one of my essentials. Do you use the KETO MCT and Collagen powder drink with coconut or almond milk as a meal replacement?

JRogers Wow! that is more then impressive. You have Keto down to a science. With that kind of weight loss you must be in Ketosis constantly. I will check my ketosis this morning but my weight is still 235 down from 249.5. Today I will have reg brewed coffee this morning with heavy cream. then in about two hours my keto coffee. Then around 2pm two or three organic eggs with grass fed butter and some avocado. Dinner tri tip steak sauteed i olive oil, with tossed salad vinegrette dressing. Your thoughts.

JRogers Good Morning. I check my Ketosis level this morning with the strips. Just barely a change in color..actually I gained 1/2 lb. yesterday keto coffee in the morning. lunch 3 eggs with butter, 6 pieces of crispy bacon. half avocado. Dinner grilled ribeye with olive oil, sauteed onion, squash, eggplant, dessert half a peach, a few walnuts and cheese for snack.
