Would anybody like to cheerfully check in daily here?

Thinking it might be fun and even helpful for a few to check in daily (for me, it鈥檒l be first thing morning US Pacific time ) ? I鈥檝e done this and find it fun and useful 馃槉

  • Checking in. Did pretty well today. Didn't go over on the carbs. Went over by 10 on both the fat and protein

    Checking in hoping this thread will get revived. 

    Taking a rest from walking today. Focusing on catching up on Keto baking & freezing for my husband.  Amazingly he got onboard with this lifestyle three months ago!  I鈥檓 thrilled he has joined me. 

    On track today with my Intermittent fasting & 1 big simple keto meal of meat  & veggies.

    I鈥檝e enjoyed the cooler mornings the last few days. Makes walking enjoyable. 

    Peanuts and Moringa are wanting to be harvested with this cool weather so that鈥檚 kept me busy. 

     

    My husband is in love with the new keto tortillas I鈥檝e been making. He is so picky it鈥檚 a blessing to add to his menu. Like all Keto baked goods, they stall my weight loss so I鈥檓 glad taste testing is over and I can get back to just my coffee, meat & veggies.

  • I would love to this is my first day and honestly I鈥檓 scare is it ok to be cared? I just want to do it correct but it鈥檚 so confusing they say for beginners don鈥檛 worry about your macros right now just worry about the The carbs and keep the at 20 for now then as you get the food intake going then start doing the macros cause they say people get overwhelmed and quit which sound legit has anyone heard of the same thing??

    David yes I am having the same problems, ppl say just eat, some say my protein is too low at\154 grams, then someone says my protein should be at 80 to 120 and higher, I鈥檓 like the hell are they talking about, some don鈥檛 use an app to track, I鈥檓 like how do you know where you are if not logged in

    This app makes it easy.  Do not be afraid!  Plan ahead as much as possible and stay positive.  Watch the carbs first, then glance at the rest.  Do not make it more complicated than it is.  Do this for a week and then get yourself some Me to Sticks.  They provide positive reinforcement.

    After 4 months now of the low carb transitioned to keto lifestyle, I am happy to say that I am down 52.2 pounds!

    I have lost 15.95% of my body weight!

    I鈥檓 in Victoria Australia and started keto today but have been low carb and 16:8 for awhile. Sometimes it鈥檚 nice to chat about progress and hurdles I鈥檓 63 and grandma raising 3grandchildren

    Chris  Hi, Im Judy.I live in Wisconsin, U.S.A. I turned 65 Jan 1st.  I started Keto last January and went until April without losing much weight. Then I had a TKR and was in the hospital eating that garbage food and ended up quitting Keto. Im now trying it again and trying to figure out where I went wrong the first time. This is day 2 for me and Im doing ok. The hardest thing for me is when I get up, my blood sugar is low and Im looking for sweets, like a cookie, to start off my day.  I have missed that the past two days, but I had tea with stevia, so that worked. I drink coffee too and Im adding a tablespoon of MCT oil for the fat. I also have Dr Axes Multi Collegan Protein powder to help with getting in my protein. I like plain extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar on my salads and cook my scrambled eggs in butter. Im trying to buy as much organic as I can, but Im outside of a little town that doesnt have much of that in the store. Id like to hear what you are doing. Thanks, nice to meet you. 馃檪 Judy

    Im on day 3 so far. Had a small salad and half of fajita platter without shells at Cinco de Mayo for lunch. Water for my beverage. Doing ok but have to get in a little more protein. I have protein powder Ill have later. Doing ok.

    Judy I like bone broth with a tsp lemon juice plus collagen for a protein boost.  17g protein, no carbs.

    Moondrake Thanks, I do use bone bone too. The protein powder is an easy grab when you dont have any broth on hand.馃檪
